our laws.
Please follow all of our rules. Punishments for breaking them will be decided upon by staff. Rules are subject to change, and while major changes will be announced, it is your job as a member to check occasionally for any edits. Thank you.
If you're lazy, just read over the bolded parts. They summarize the description that comes afterward.

general RESPECT EACH OTHER Respect is necessary for any site to function. Please remember that there are human beings on the other side, and that they all deserve to be treated with respect, staff or not. Any form of bullying will be met with severe consequences. NO SPAMMING Spam includes, but is not limited to, short posts that hold no real meaning, off-topic posts that don't contribute to the current topic, and posts made purely out of emoticons or punctuation. If you know that your post doesn't help the topic at hand, it is likely spam. NO EXPLICIT CONTENT In accordance with ProBoard's Community Guidelines, no sexually or violently explicit material is allowed on our site. To read further on what is allowed, go ahead and click the link provided to the Guidelines. However, swearing is allowed here. It should not be directed at another member, and generally used more in character than out of character. roleplaying FOLLOW RULES ON LITERACY As you may have noticed, we have our roleplay boards divided into two categories. The first is for all levels of roleplayers; it doesn't matter if you type one line or five paragraphs. However, if you are a semi-literate or literate roleplayer, and you prefer to RP with other semi-literate/literate roleplayers, you should be posting in our Advanced RP section. All advanced RP owners are expected to include in their rules how long they want posts to be. NO POWERPLAYING OR GODMODDING Most roleplays should include this rule. Powerplaying is controlling someone else's character, and godmodding is making your character indestructable. While mild powerplaying is allowed in special occasions [ in battle, if a character is unconscious ], please generally avoid both of these. SOME MATURE RPS ALLOWED Roleplays are allowed to have some level of maturity, as long as you don't get into graphic, gory detail. Please include a warning either in your title or in your description if you are allowing such topics. ONE PICTURE PER POST Some of our computers are slow and take a while to load, and including a huge amount of pictures in your forms and RP posts is, honestly, annoying to many of us. Please limit yourself to one reference image per post. |
